Nestled in the vibrant corner of East Portland lies Lents, a bustling community divided by I-205 Freeway with over 20,000 warm and friendly residents. With light rail on its doorstep at just 30 to 40 minutes away from downtown Portland life is definitely never dull here! Shopping fans can get their fill close by too; Clackamas Town Center is nearby for those retail therapy days. The area has an inviting suburban feel combined with affordable housing options – what’s not to love? And if that wasn’t enough Happy Valley isn’t far off either making it perfect for weekend road trips.

Public transportation is good as the Green line goes through the town and the Springwater Corridor makes bike riding and walking easy. There are several nice parks in Lents and they also have a nice community garden. During the Summer there are movies in the Park. Lents also hosts the Ramona Street Fair, which has music, food and crafts. If you’re looking to live in Lents, expect a mix of suburban and urban spaces, from modest homes to tall apartment buildings.

With its recent Urban Renewal Area designation, Lents is quickly becoming a go-to spot for young couples and first-time buyers. There’s been no shortage of progress in this close knit community as it continues to develop into an even better place to live. With all the work being done by local residents, one thing rings true: something special awaits those who call lively Lents home!
