Rose City Park is a spot of timeless beauty in Northeast Portland, where stunning homes from the first half of the 20th century still stand proudly along streets dotted with majestic old-growth trees. Residents are treated to an array of different house styles – bungalows, English cottages and ranches included – set against exquisite views overlooking parklands and golf courses! Urban dwellers seeking serenity need look no further as there has been minimal development here since the 70s; so don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity for peaceful living within easy reach of all city amenities.
Located in the northeast section of Portland, this community shares borders with Beaumont-Wilshire and the Hollywood District to the west, Cully to the north, Roseway and Madison South to the east and Center to the south.
This community was first platted in 1907, which also happened to be the year of the inaugural Portland Rose Festival. Today, Rose City Park is beloved for its natural beauty and excellent location. This neighborhood is best known as the home of Rose City Park. This expansive park helped earn Portland its nickname ‘City of Roses.’ It is simply amazing!
Another interesting spot in this neighborhood is Roseway Theatre. This is a beautiful old theater that has been rehabbed. It is a fun place to see a film and shows are only $6. The Roseway is much more lavish than many cheap movie theatres in Portland. In addition, golfers will be happy to learn that Rose City Park includes the Rose City Golf Course, which was built in 1923. As a result, this is one of the oldest courses in Portland. Various tournaments take place throughout the year.
Rose City Park is a vibrant and diverse neighborhood located along Sandy Boulevard, which proudly displays the majestic statue of George Washington. It’s an ideal spot for professional couples in their 30s or 40s with kids who want to feel like part of Portland but need something more affordable than it used to be – although still slightly higher than average prices compared to other locations around town.
